The journey you take through Cheer is your choice. Our recreational classes last one term each and you can repeat the same class as many times as you like.

Once you have mastered all of the skills taught in a rec class, you will be invited to join the next class up in the new term. We will support you through this by providing a half-term report listing the skills you have already mastered and those that you still need to improve to progress to a new class.

Classes become progressively more difficult and it is important to master all skills in one class before moving on to the next.
When you have mastered the skills in the Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced classes, you will be invited to join a Competition Squad at that level.

Squads will compete at Regional and National competitions across the UK.

Whilst you are in a Squad, you can also start training towards the next Level by attending the next recreational class available.

Competition Squads are optional so if you prefer, you can continue taking recreational classes all the way to Level 5 without ever competing.
